Sydney festival Volumes has announced its 2017 lineup, and it’s stacked with local greatness.
The event is returning for its third year this August, taking over Oxford Art Factory, The Cliff Dive and Brighton Up Bar for a day full of local, mostly new talent.
This year, Future Classic’s latest singing Jonti, up-and-coming rapper Baro and sun-kissed tune-makers The Ocean Party will head up the festival. They’ll also be joined by World Champion, Fortunes., Wallace and plenty more. Catch the full list, below.
As per other years, Volumes isn’t your regular festival. It’ll be transforming each venue into “immersive sensory spaces”, so expect something extra from each of the performances.
It will all go down on Saturday, 19th August, and tickets are already on sale. Organisers have designed a ‘Pay What You Can’ initiative to keep the festival inclusive as well. The bad news is that all those tickets have sold out, but there are still full-price tickets available.
UPDATE: Volumes Festival has now announced its second round lineup, which includes the likes of Straight Arrows, Hideous Sun Demon and Terry. Peep all the new additions down below.
