Watch: At The Drive In’s First Show In 11 Years

The reformed At The Drive In played their first show in 11 years last night in Austin Texas, and fan footage has already emerged on YouTube (see below). The venue was packed, and fans who missed out on tickets climbed trees and rooftops to get a view, NME reports.

The show was the first in what will be a lengthy reunion tour for the band, who will play a number of festivals including a headline slot at this year’s Coachella Festival in the US, and the Reading and Leeds Festivals in the UK.

Omar Rodriguez-Lopez recently said the band will not be recording any new material as part of the band’s 2012 reunion.

At The Drive In have been rumoured as one of the headliners for this year’s Splendour In The Grass Festival in Byron Bay
