Watch Big Day Out 2014 Artists Go For LOLs In Announcement Videos

Written by Mike Hohnen on August 1, 2013

To coincide with their massive lineup announcement last night, Big Day Out have released a series of brief but lolworthy clips featuring an array of artists confirming their involvement.

So far, internationals Mac Miller and The Algorithm have joined in on the fun as has several of the homegrown talent set to feature at the event including Cosmic Psychos, Kingswood and Peking Duk.

Most of the bands have managed do to wonders with the short time frame they had. Kingswood demonstrate nothing but effortless style in their clip. Cosmic Psychos are probably the toughest – despite the fact that there’s a rapper in the list, the Psychos’ vid is the only one to feature an active firearm. The Algorithm’s is surely the most life threatening effort out of the lot – crazy Frenchman.

Thanks to the below videos we also know that Peking Duk is actually a 40-something drunken bogan, and Loon Lake are far more badass than one might have originally thought. Enjoy.
