Watch Bikini Kill Reunite For The First Time In 20 Years

Legendary US punk rock act Bikini Kill have surprised the sh*t out of everyone by randomly reuniting in New York over the weekend to play just one song.

The veteran act, who’ve rarely been seen or heard from since their break-up back in 1997, blew everyone’s minds by taking to the stage together without warning for the first time in 20-years, at an event celebrating the launch of a new book about the Raincoats’ self-titled album.

OG members Tobi Vail, Kathi Wilcox and frontwoman Kathleen Hanna performed their tune ‘For Tammy Rae’ in the guerrilla gig at NYC’s The Kitchen before disappearing back into history.

It comes two years after the city of Boston declared April 9th “Riot Grrrl Day” in honour of Kathleen Hanna (AKA one of the fiercest women in rock)
