Having only just announced their comeback album Four at the beginning of this month, British indie outfit Bloc Party are trying out the new material on fans via the first of a few early shows in Glasgow, UK. A song named 3 x 3 was performed just hours ago (watch below), and was one of several new tracks on their setlist.
Their new album will be released this August via their new label Frenchkiss Records, which they joined earlier this year after a run of three albums on previous label Wichita. The new album is the follow-up to their 2008 release Intimacy, and seperate 2009 single One More Chance, which then saw the band go on a hiatus with an unknown time scale for a new release.
We’ll see Bloc Party appear on the Splendour in the Grass 2012 lineup next month, but hopefully we won’t have to wait until then to hear more of what’s on offer from the new material.
