Perhaps it’s because they exist outside our universe that Breaking Bad’s Hank and Marie Schrader seem to be having a much harder time coming to terms with Miley Cyrus‘ dance moves at yesterday’s MTV VMAs than the rest of us.
Maybe it’s because twerking is yet to make its way to the ABQ. Maybe the Schraders think this is another instance of America’s youth population succumbing to that oh-so-popular blue candy. Maybe, having just figured out that his own brother-in-law is Heisenberg, Hank is reeling from yet another instance of watching everything he thought he knew about someone fly out the window (or, in this case, winding on Robin Thicke‘s fly).
Of course, those who have been paying attention understand that the Schraders don’t have any children so, unlike the Smith family, they won’t find themselves awkwardly explaining to their kids where Hannah Montana’s pants went.
