Watch Bring Me The Horizon Team Up With An Orchestra For Special Royal Albert Hall Charity Gig

It’s safe to say that Bring Me The Horizon have been pretty divisive of late, after changing their sound from metalcore to straight-up stadium rock, releasing a controversially gruesome AF video clip and trollng fans with threats to tour with Justin Bieber.

But no matter how you feel about the band’s current path, you’ve gotta hand it to the Sheffield fivesome: they’re not afraid to defy society’s expectations and keep us all guessing.

Case in point: their latest concert at the iconic Royal Albert Hall (which FYI is kind of like the Opera House of London except older and probs more haunted), which saw them team up with an entire god damn orchestra to perform a setlist of all their biggest hits, including the live debuts of That’s The Spirit songs Avalanche and Oh No.

As Loudwire reports, the special one-off concert event was also for a good cause – raising money and awareness for the Teenage Cancer Trust – with the band filming the whole thing and planning to release a special live dvd in September with all profits to be donated back to the charity.

But for now, you can check out some of the epic fan-shot footage below (orchestral Drown is pretty incred. for just the fan response alone).

It’s not every day that you get to see thousands of punters mosh-the-fark out to a freakin’ orchestra, after all.

Oh and just in case you forgot, BMTH are hopping a plane Down Under for a huge headlining tour this September, around the same time that their new #heavenlymetal dvd is due to be released…
