Watch A Colonial Dave Grohl Make A Cameo On ‘Drunk History’

It seems Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has been using some of his down time to flex his acting chops.

Good guy Dave has donned a curly grey colonial man-wig and beard to portray a gossiping US founding father in the latest episode of the Comedy Central series Drunk History, which is based on the premise of inebriated comedian narrators attempting to recount events from American history, while actors reenact their sloshed ramblings and lip-sync the dialogue as multiple LOLs ensue.

In the latest Grohl-featuring ep, renowned Hamilton musical creator Lin-Manuel Miranda gets towelled and recounts the story of founding father Alexander Hamilton and his lifelong rivalry with some dude named Aaron Burr, hilariously unfolding the tale of Hamilton’s fire-plagued voyage to The Colonies in the following terms:

As well as the head Foo, the episode also features cameos from Questlove, plus Arrested Development‘s Alia Shawkat and Tony Hale, Parks & Rec‘s Aubrey Plaza and Fargo‘s Bokeem Woodbine.

You can watch a short snippet of one of Grohl’s most LOL-worthy moments below or catch the full episode here (Grohl pops up in Act 2, but his speaking line appears to have been cut from the Australian version).
