Watch Dave Grohl & His Daughter, Violet, Cover An Adele Classic

Maybe get your box of Kleenex ready before you watch this one, because it’s a real doozy.

Rolling Stone reports that, while Dave Grohl played a benefit concert in California last night, his 12-year-old daughter, Violet, joined him on stage to perform a cover of Adele‘s ‘When We Were Young.’

Violet completely floored the audience with her impressive vocals that somehow rival Adele’s iconic singing ability herself. It’s a stunning and simple cover that’ll have you crying in seconds.

During the set, Dave Grohl performed acoustic renditions of some of Foo Fighters’ biggest hits, like ‘Everlong’, ‘Learn To Fly’ and ‘Best of You.’ He also performed ‘The Sky is a Neighborhood’ and had his 9-year-old daughter, Harper, play drums while Violet sang back up. The apple really doesn’t fall far from the tree.

The Notes & Words benefit concert raised funds for the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.

Watch clips of both performances below, and get ready to absolutely cry your eyes out.
