Drake has been the victim of a multi-million dollar jewellery heist.
According to NME, almost $4 million AUD worth of
hotline regular bling was jacked from the rapper’s tour bus following his show at Phoenix’s Talking Stick Resort Arena on Tuesday night (6th September).
It reportedly belonged to Drizzy’s DJ, Future The Prince, but the man himself was still pretty PO’d about the whole thing.
Footage from TMZ captures the moment that Drake finds out about the robbery, showing him storming into a loading dock and throwing his hands in the air in apparent disbelief.
However, alls well that ends well, with police recovering the stolen loot and arrested the alleged thief.
As Pitchfork reports, a 21-year-old man who worked at the venue was reportedly collared on the campus grounds at Arizona State University in possession of a briefcase containing the hot
line bling. He’s been charged with felony burglary.
“We’re just working on music, working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio,” Yeezy told Vogue. “We’re working on an album, so there’s some exciting things coming up soon.”
