Arcade Fire completists rejoice, as rare, largely unseen footage has come to light of the band performing a low-key show before they became the global indie giants they are today.
Pitchfork reports that the video is taken from back in 2002, and sees the band performing at a house party in Montreal. That was two full years before the band’s seminal debut album Funeral was released. In the clip, the band perform My Heart Is An Apple from their 2003 eponymously titled EP. How the times – and the fashions – have changed.
