The latest single from ex-Killing Heidi vocalist Ella Hooper is receiving the full treatment. Not only has it been accompanied with a video offering, but the track will also be officially launched later this month at Melbourne’s Workers Club.
For those of you playing at home, Häxan is a Scandinavian word, which loosely translates to ‘the witches’, a perfect match for the ominous, dark and enchanting vibe the song creates. Hooper herself appears to be under some sort of spell throughout the clip, which sees the return of long-term video collaborator Wilk.
Häxan comes hot off the heels of maiden single Low High. Both tracks have been boosted from Hooper’s forthcoming solo effort In Tongues which has been slated for a Friday, 28th June release.
Häxan will hit the market on Friday, 26th April.
