Watch: Former Paramore Drummer Zach Farro New Band HalfNoise

NME has posted an article detailing former Paramore drummer Zach Farro’s new band HalfNoise. Comprised of Zach’s brother Josh Farro (also formerly of Paramore), childhood friend Jason Clark and Canon Blue frontman Dan Brigham, HalfNoise’s sound shares similarities to Radiohead and Sigur Ros, according to Zach.

Zach says HalfNoise intend on: “combining the ambiance of bands from Iceland with the sampling and electronic elements of Radiohead”.

When speaking about the new band’s first single Free The House, Zach said the song is a fair representation of HalfNoise’s overall sound.

“I wanted ‘Free The House’ to be the first music released to fans as it best represents my current style and creative direction in music. The song illustrates what fans can expect to hear from HalfNoise in the future”, Farro said.

Meanwhile in Paramore news, the American outfit is currently working on their fourth studio record. Producing the album will be Nine Inch Nails/Beck bassist Justin Meldal-Johnsen.
