Grizzly Bear have performed their track Sleeping Ute on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon over the weekend, taken from their new album Shields, which is out now in Australia. The hugely popular Brooklyn indie quartet will be out here soon for Harvest Festival, and the performance serves as a nice taster of what to expect.
Recorded over the better part of a year, the album has been described as the band’s most charged and concise collection of music to date. Having long since mastered the fine balance of precious yet powerful music that defines quality indie rock, Grizzly Bear’s sustained excellence has earned the band greater notoriety with each passing record.
You can see Grizzly Bear when they perform on the Harvest Festival 2012 lineup in November, or catch them at one of their sideshows at Billboard in Melbourne, or The Metro in Sydney.
