Demonic shock-rockers GWAR have made the most of today’s US election vibes by allowing Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton to bash things out during their performance of an AC/DC classic.
The carnage went down during the band’s slot on The A.V. Club‘s ‘Undercover’ series, where they performed a very appropriate cover of Acca Dacca’s If You Want Blood (You Got It), featuring a snippet of the Boston song Foreplay/Long Time.
The hand-to-hand combat is probably a fairly accurate depiction of what will go down at the polls today, with Trump coping a savage beatdown, before literally having the flesh torn from his bones. Hillary, though the victor, doesn’t fair too well either, and right as the clip begins to feel a little inappropriate, she dies.
To really drive the point home, the band finish the show by bellowing, “Nobody wins.”
Just a few hours into the election, the heavy music community is really making its voice heard. Already today Marilyn Manson threw his two cents in, depicting a headless, Trump-like corpse in his new video.
