The final show of Adele‘s 2017 Australian tour featured a stack of the singer’s biggest hits, but also an especially big moment for one man, who popped a surprise proposal on Adele’s stage during the show.
Married couple Wade, 37, and Chris, 40, who are both originally from Perth, were brought onto the stage at Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium last night, when they were supposedly spotted crying in the crowd.
After meeting Adele, Wade revealed he had something important he wanted to do.
“Now he’s already said we’re married, but it’s a long story. I never officially went to propose,” he told the cheering crowd, before getting down on bended knee to officially propose to Chris, who obviously replied with a big fat ‘yes’.
“I had no idea this was going to happen,” Adele told the crowd. “This wasn’t planned, I had no idea there, Chris.”

Adele’s debut Australian tour was filled with big moments, including a power outage in Adelaide, news of Adele’s marriage to Simon Konecki and even the singer telling Brisbane’s Lord Mayor to “shut up”.
