Consequence of Sound has been good enough to share some pretty cool fan-filmed footage that popped up recently. Have you ever wondered what The National frontman Matt Berninger does in his spare time? Well, it’s a lot like what he does for a living.
The below video shows (in surprisingly good quality) Berninger joining a group of other men on stage. The group was butchering the Pixie‘s classic Here Comes Your Man until Matt took to the stage and began belting out the lyrics, totally saving the performance.
Testement to Berninger’s awesomeness is the fact that he dresses just like he does on stage, almost as though he’s prepared for any situation where he might need to perform. It’s also pretty cool how he holds the mic just like he usually does; he’s really getting into it. It shows that Berninger was just as involved in this performance as his one in front of Obama. What a legend!
