Watch My Morning Jacket’s Moving Eagles Of Death Metal Cover

In a devastating interview last week, Eagles Of Death Metal urged bands to cover their track I Love You All The Time as a tribute to the victims of the tragic Paris attacks, and now a band has responded.

American five-piece My Morning Jacket delivered a moving cover of the track during a show in New York over the weekend.

According to Stereogum, the band also requested a minute’s silence to pay their respects to the people who died in the attacks, 89 of which were killed during Eagles Of Death Metal’s gig at the Bataclan in Paris when gunmen opened fire.

In the interview with Vice, Eagles Of Death Metal stated that they would donate all of the publishing earnings from bands who cover the song, to the victims. It looks as if, My Morning Jacket are the first high-profile band to cover the song although Pearl Jam covered the band’s track I Want You So Hard during a Seattle show last week (via CoS).
