Watch: New Modest Mouse Track ‘Heart Of Mine’

American indie-rockers Modest Mouse have debuted a new song live while on tour across the Unites States in support of their upcoming EP, which is yet to be named. The band last toured Australia as a part of the juggernaut 2011 Splendour in the Grass festival, which took place last July.

The song is titled Heart of Mine and was performed at Frost Revival in Palo Alto, California. Their upcoming EP, which is apparently in the works, features Big Boi on production. This was leaked last year through Twitter, and since then hype has progressively started to build.

The band previously played two new songs when they headlined the 2011 installation of Sasquatch Festival, alongside Foo Fighters, Death Cab For Cutie and The Flaming Lips. The songs were titled Poison the Well and Lampshades on Fire.

The band have not announced any dates aside from the American tour, on which they are about to embark; however, a quick trip to Australia for this year’s Harvest Festival would make for quite a festival.
