Watch Panic! At The Disco’s Surprise On Stage Reunion With Their Former Drummer

Reports from a current Panic! At The Disco tour suggest the shows contain all the goddamn feels. Not just because the band have been performing their original material, but last night they were surprised on stage by their original drummer Spencer Smith.

In what appears to be an impromptu walk on, Smith appears from stage right and hands main man Brandon Urie his guitar. Urie is clearly stoked to be sharing the stage with an old friend and introduces him as such. It’s a short but sweet reunion with Smith departing to the flanks as the band begin their performance of This Is Gospel.

Smith parted ways with the band back in 2015 after 10 years with the group. In a message to the fans, Smith revealed a problem with addiction was the reason behind his departure. Smith was a key part to the band’s seminal records including A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out and Pretty Odd – both have been included in the recent shows.

Testament to a widely regarded return to form, Panic! were joined on stage by peer Pete Wentz, oh he of Fall Out Boy fame for Victorious.

You can check out the video below, and if you didn’t already have tickets to their upcoming Australian tour, well, you’ll probably want them soon after.
