The Amity Affliction Return With New Sound In ‘Misery’ Video Part II, ‘Feels Like I’m Dying’

The Amity Affliction have unleashed the 2nd chapter of their three-part Underbelly-style series of music videos.

It means not only do we have a cinematic new Misery clip from the Gympie lads, we’re also privy to a brand new track from their forthcoming album of the same name.

Picking up from where debut tune ‘Ivy (Doomsday)’ left off, the next instalment ‘Feels Like I’m Dying’ sees the Amity fellas continue to portray a crime family in the 1980’s Australia who rob a business and take the boss hostage for revenge after he sexually assaults one of their own.

Written and directed by Joel Birch, the video is pretty powerful.

Meanwhile, the song itself sees the metalcore graduates stray further afield from the sound that made them huge, experimenting with dance grooves and some very 90’s inspired synth production flourishes.

It’s bound to divide some fans, but then Amity wouldn’t be Amity if they weren’t pissing at least a few people off, would they?

Give Misery Part II: ‘Feels Like I’m Dying’ a watch below and keep your fingers crossed for a tour announcement coming soon.
