Sydney duo Polish Club are braver than the rest of us, because they just tackled a cover of Flume‘s Hottest 100-winning banger ‘Never Be Like You’ for triple j‘s Like A Version covers segment.
Polish Club’s take on the song — which they called “the tune rag to end all tune rags” — was bold, swingin’, slow and truly rockin’, with plodding rhythms, guitar work and literally zero electronics.
While in the triple j studios, Polish Club also performed their original track ‘Come Party’, from their upcoming album Alright Already. Watch both performances, below.
Polish Club are going out on a national tour between May and June, including appearances at Narara Festival and Big Pineapple Music Festival.
