Red Hot Chili Peppers have performed two tracks on yesterday’s episode of British show Later… With Jools Holland. They performed first single The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie as well as latest single and album opener Monarchy of Roses. Both tracks are from their latest album I’m With You.
We’re likely to see RHCP tour Australia next year after a recent interview with Flea backstage at the MTV Europe Video Awards by Triple M revealed they had it on their schedule.
We are coming, I looked at my tour schedule and it’s there next year. I don’t know the dates, I’m sorry, but we are coming. Without doubt, we will come … and rock … like untethered beasts.
The last time the Chili Peppers visited Australia was for the 2007 Stadium Arcadium Tour.
The show also featured songs from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Björk.
