Watch Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Josh Klinghoffer Cover Radiohead’s ‘Spectre’

Currently touring through Europe off the back of their brand new album The Getaway, Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ have been crushing shows and their guitarist Josh Klinghoffer has also been playing a series of short solo covers across recent shows.

Klinghoffer, who has been the Chili’s full time guitarist since John Frusciante quit the band in 2009 – has cracked out some amazing covers of David Bowie, The Beatles and Morissey in the past few shows.

Overnight he took things up a notch, showing off his impressive vocal chops and singing Thom Yorke’s falsetto-heavy lyrics on Radiohead‘s James Bond theme song Spectre.

The performance shows off a rarely seen side of Klinghoffer, as the youngest ever Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee pulls off a supremely emotive performance.

The Radiohead track was composed for the 2015 Bond flick but was ultimate passed up in favour of Sam Smith’s own submission.
