The Darkness have returned with a new single named Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us, and of course it’s just as over-the-top as you’d expect. This is their first material in seven years, and should be the first single from a forthcoming third new album. The band reunited in 2011 after splitting in 2006, but performed a comeback show at last year’s Download Festival.
The animation was done by cult artist Thom Lessner, who frontman Justin Hawkins spoke about in an interview with Rolling Stone “The video turned out ace, I’ve always been a fan of Thom Lessner’s illustrations, so I was delighted when he and Ted Passon agreed to make it.”
