The Killers took on one of U2’s biggest hits when the lads from Las Vegas delivered a condensed version of With or Without You at London’s 02 Arena on November 17, 2012. As reported by Consequence of Sound, the show concluded The Killers UK leg of their current tour, which will eventually see the indie sweethearts head our way for Big Day Out 2013.
As you can see from the footage, any vocal problems that were troubling frontman Brandon Flowers seem to be an issue of the past. The Killers were forced to cancel two shows in Manchester due to Flowers’ voice giving out on him. The Killers offered fans an apology and will make up the shows in 2013.
Flowers also caused a little bit of a stir recently by mentioning his desire to collaborate with Muse. The comments came when Flowers was speaking with The Sun shortly after both Muse and The Killers performed at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
“We’ve become good friends with Muse. We get along so well, so I’d never rule out working together. We would be trying to outdo eachother. It would be spectacular, the choruses would be huge,” Flowers revealed to The Sun.
