Indie Rockers The National have debuted a brand new track at their installation of the 2012 All Tomorrows Parties festival. The festival, curated by the Cincinnati outfit, also featured the likes of Youth Lagoon, Wild Beasts and Deerhood, which would have made for one killer day.
The new track, Lola, sees The National return to their unique sound, with vocalist Matt Berninger continuing his distinctive lyrical parade. The acoustic piece is the first glimpse of the band’s latest album (about which no information has been announced).
Regardless of the impending release, bless your ears with some new music from The National, sure to make a regular appearance on Pitchfork’s office playlist once it is given an official release.
