Cabin fever can affect the best of us, resulting in some seriously strange behaviour, but in the case of Thundamentals, it’s the spark that lights the fires of creativity. The Blue Mountains outfit have now released a DIY live recording of new single Home In Your Head, exclusively via Music Feeds.
The jam was recorded and filmed at Def Wolf Studios where the lads buckled down for their pre-tour warm up. Joining them for the session was fellow Blue Mountaineer Mataya Young who features on the track’s official release, taken from the group’s new album So We Can Remember.
Maybe it’s the lighting, maybe it’s the camera angles, maybe it’s the delicate soundscape of the track, but it’s undeniable that there is a certain je ne sais quoi about this particular rendition that, provided you have a soul, will give you goosebumps. In fact, if you don’t get any, see a doctor.
