Five-piece indie outfit Ball Park Music are set to release their release their fourth studio album later this year. The Brisbane band have released two new songs from the record, were recently announced on the bill for Splendour In The Grass, and are fresh off a tour of intimate shows around the country road testing new material.
Undoubtedly an act on the rise, it would appear that their music is getting some unexpected traction over the in the United States. Never likely to shy away from social media, the band posted on Monday that they’d just witnessed a Snapchat of Usher listening to their track It’s Nice To Be Alive whilst in a helicopter. “Life is officially weird”, read the post.
Shortly after that, we were gifted a compilation of snaps that confirmed indeed that however unlikely it may seem, Usher was indeed bopping along whilst flying high. Nice to be alive indeed.
As if that wasn’t enough excitement for one day – a comment from Salami Memes drew even more delight from the band’s Facebook moderator.
