Welcome To The Valley 2014 Lineup Announced

The lineup for Welcome To The Valley 2014 has been announced and its set to see another sublime roster of local talent descend upon Western Australia’s scenic Swan Valley. Topping the second year of this unique, Oktoberfest-inspired event are Art Vs Science, Yolanda Be Cool, Basenji, and DCUP.

Punters will also be treated to live acoustic sets from Steve Parkin, best known for his work with acclaimed Australian indie supergroup Basement Birds, Justin Burford, former frontman of Perth giants End of Fashion, as well as not-to-be-missed DJ sets from funk-masters Charlie Bucket and Fdel.

Welcome To The Valley differs from other Australian festivals in that revellers get to design their own experience. Taking place across three picturesque Swan Valley venues, punters choose from a range of pick-up locations across Perth, as well as a preferred brewery or winery for the first part of their day.

Organisers stress that the day is entirely hassle free, with all bus transport to and from venues included in the ticket price. After you’ve chosen between the Oakover Estate and the Feral Brewery, and had your inclusive German lunch, the day will conclude with a massive party at the Belvoir Amphitheatre.

Tickets are on sale now and priced at $94 + booking fee.
