A never-before-heard Pink Floyd song has just been pulled from the vault.
Dubbed Vegetable Man, the 50-year-old track was recorded in 1967 and sung by Syd Barrett.
The tune had apparently been bootlegged by fans in the past, but it’s set to get its first ever commercial release on a whopping 27xCD box set dubbed The Early Years 1965–1972, which is due out next Friday, November 11th (Dad’s Chrissy present = sorted).
BBC 6 Music premiered the rare musical gem, and unfortunately they’re the only ones who are streaming it at this point.
