Ylvis Follow Up ‘The Fox’ With Ode To Massachusetts

Norweigan comedy act Ylvis ain’t resting on their laurels after the massive success of their track The Fox last month, hitting back with Massachusetts, a song all about America’s 14th biggest state and apparently a great place for reading free books and eating cheese. Who knew?

In case you were living under a rock or something, Ylvis found overnight success last month when they dropped the completely freakin’ ridiculous video for their track The Fox (What Does The Fox Say?), which explored complex issues like, um, what noise a fox makes, attracting close to 150 million views on YouTube so far.

Massachusetts doesn’t quite have the same appeal as its predecessor but somehow manages to mention Nelson Mandela, catholic priests and a male dance group from Pingryville in this ode to the state of hopes and dreams. Forget New York and California, indeed, and move over, Lonely Island.
