Sad news for fans of Californian indie popsters Youngblood Hawke – the outfit behind the smash We Come Running have been forced to cancel their headlining show at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory tonight, after vocalist Sam Martin was advised to rest his vocal cords.
Regrettably they’ve also had to pull out of today’s scheduled live stream from Music Feeds Studio, with Martin being instructed to preserve himself ahead of the outfit’s next show at Sydney Entertainment Centre, opening for Pink on her enormous The Truth About Love tour.
The band’s headlining show at The Toff In Town in Melbourne on Saturday, 24th August is set to go ahead at this stage. Ticket holders for tonight’s cancelled gig will be automatically refunded to their credit card or Paypal account, while those who bought tickets from an outlet can seek a refund at their point of purchase.
