Z-Trip Announces Australian Tour August, 2012

Written by Marc Zanotti on June 20, 2012

American producer and DJ Zach Sciacca aka Z-Trip is returning to Australia with his brand new AV show. A frequent vistor of out shores, Z-Trip has been a fixture in the hip hop community since the late 80s. Z-Trip has been associated with some of the genres most iconic artists, including DJ Shadow, Jurassic 5 and Public Enemy.

Carving out a career from tirelessly working to expand the possibilities of hip hop, Z-Trip continues to evolve as an artist and an innovator, continually releasing masses of musical content, including an artist-approved Beastie Boys catalogue mix and helping with development of the gaming series DJ Hero.

Z-Trip’s Sydney show will also incorporate the final for the national DJ competition Red Bull Thre3style: a contest that sees DJs mix at least three different musical genres into a 15 minute set. The winner will set sail for Chi-City (Chicago) later in the year and compete in the world final.
