ARIA Awards 2014 Red Carpet: Kingswood

Melbourne rockers Kingswood attended their very first ARIA Awards ceremony this year, and stopped by the Music Feeds microphone on their way down the red carpet, before heading inside for the official ceremony.

When asked by Music Feeds’ Mike Hohnen how they were finding the ARIAs vibe, the startled group replied, “It’s a bit weird, it’s great. Yeah we don’t know.”

Kingswood’s latest album, Microscopic Wars, was nominated for Best Rock Album this year. How did the band rate their chances? “Not very good,” they said. “It’s nice to be recognised I guess.”

Kingswood would go on to see the award handed to Dan Sultan, but they’ve said they are already looking towards the future, and to a Kingswood/The Preatures supergroup which they may or may not call “Preatchwood”.
