ARIA Awards 2014 Red Carpet: The Preatures

Sydney five-piece The Preatures took some time out of their walk down the 2014 ARIA Awards red carpet last night to let Music Feeds in on just how they were feeling prior to the ceremony.

“People are actually talking to us this year,” said frontwoman Isabella Manfredi, before her strapping bandmates decided to question Music Feeds’ Mike Hohnen about whether or not he has read the bible, for some reason. The pre-awards excitement was clearly getting to the band, who were nominated in the Best Australian Live Act category.

Despite losing out to Keith Urban during the ceremony, the band were pleased to see lots of familiar faces. “It’s nice to see everyone and sort of catch up,” guitarist/vocalist Gideon Bensen said.

Already planning their follow up to this year’s debut album Blue Planet Eyes, we’re sure to see The Preatures again at many ARIA ceremonies to come.
