Big Day Out 2014 Interviews: Violent Soho

Brisbane’s Violent Soho have been a staple of the Australian festival scene for a few years now and were back again for another metaphorical roof-raising set at the Big Day Out 2014.

Two of Mansfield’s favourite sons took a well-deserved break during the festival before their song Covered In Chrome charted in the top 20 of this year’s Hottest 100 that day, kicking back with Music Feeds to chat about passing out before midnight on New Year’s Eve, their favourite tracks to play live, the “problem” with being mates with DZ Deathrays and having less “complicated” songs than Arcade Fire.
