Ecca Vandal – ‘Father Hu$$la’

South African-born and Australian-based artist Ecca Vandal has returned with a music video for recent single Father Hu$$la, packing some sweet video effects alongside her always-on ferociousness.

The Father Hu$$la video sees Vandal collaborate with creative co-producer Kidnot and director Andy Stalph, who were both the brains behind Vandal’s previous videos for White Flag and Battle Royal.

“The video is an audiovisual kaleidoscope that takes you down the dark path of childhood discovery,” Vandal says.

“In saying that, I want people to interpret the video anyway they want. It’s art, and that’s what drives me, the imagination, the creative process.

“I am getting more and more hands on across all artistic mediums and the ideas are endless, that’s what keeps it exciting for me.”

Ecca Vandal will launch Father Hu$$la at shows in Sydney and Melbourne in mid-September. For details, head over to the Ecca Vandal website.
