Elizabeth Rose At Select Music 7th B’Day, Sydney 2012

At 21, Elizabeth Rose is one of the youngest, and most well-rounded performers to come out of Sydney in recent years, and it is not only us who think so! triple j labelled the electro-pop songstress ‘Next Crop Artist of 2012’.

Judging by the chatter in the crowd and even from other bands on the night, Elizabeth Rose’s set was the show to see on the Select Music 7th Birthday night. But prior to that, Elizabeth sat down with the crew for a quick chat.

While still caught in the frenzy of her recent single release Ready, Rose is currently working on, and adding the final touches to, her yet-to-be released EP, looking to drop around September. Elizabeth Rose lets us know that she worked with UK producer Sinden on a track, as well as giving us a bit of an insight into the clip for the single. Rose was also picked up very early in her career to join the Aussie festival circuit, something she describes as ‘scary’.
