Empire Of The Sun’s Nick Littlemore On “Spreading A Green Message” With New Album ‘Two Vines’

Just this Friday past, Empire Of The Sun unleashed upon the world their third full-length album Two Vines. Prior to the release, Music Feeds sat down with Nick Littlemore, one-half of the dynamic duo to get the score on the record.

As Littlemore explains, the album has a very clear and concise vision – to draw attention to the importance of the planet on which we live. He explains the ethos of Two Vines revolves around “spreading a green message”, he ponders “The world is so consumed with money and power, what about the plants?”

Littlemore laments that the world is rapidly running out of substance, leading to soaring demand for something real. He admits the group’s previous output, 2013’s Ice On The Dune may have been “a little skin deep”, so the pressure to be real was felt internally.

The show will now be put on the road, with Empire Of The Sun spreading the green message with an appearance at FOMO festival early next year.
