FIDLAR – Leave Me Alone

FIDLAR have just released the official lyric video for Leave Me Alone, the fourth track to be released off their forthcoming album Too.

A prime example of the band’s garage rock driven sound, Leave Me Alone is a break-up song, with punched up guitars and feverishly angry vocals. Along with the previously released tracks from the album 40oz. On Repeat, West Coast, and Drone, Leave Me Alone shows a band expanding on their sound by degrees, exploring new territory and refining their approach to the studio and recording.

Directed by longtime collaborator Ryan Blaxley, the video is a tongue in cheek take on the lyric video internet phenomenon, with the lyrics of the song being written out on toilet papper as it unravels. The video comes as the release of Too looms on September 4th on Mom+Pop.

Produced by Jay Joyce over two weeks on Nashville, this marks the first time the LA band has worked with a producer. Full of big buzzy hooks and good old punk exuberance, this follow up to their 2013 self-titled debut promises to build on what made the band so popular to begin with.
