Interview: Fuck Buttons – Harvest Festival 2012 Sydney

Electronic duo Fuck Buttons are forever journeying down new paths in their endless quest to expand their sound. Describing their music as “snapshots that document the moment”, bandmates Benjamin John and Andrew Hung constantly collect new equipment to help make their sound a portrayal of their current state.

Despite operating outside the restriction of genres, Fuck Buttons keep themselves from being overwhelmed by limitless options by having no preconceived notion of how a song should sound or what shape and direction their music might take.

Fuck Button’s sophomore release, 2009’s Tarot Sport, received widespread acclaim from music fans and tastemakers alike. Currently working on what will be their third studio album the future is undecided but decidedly bright for Fuck Buttons.
