Future Music Festival 2014 Interviews: Martin Garrix

Fresh from his set at the Sydney leg of the Future Music Festival 2014, 17-year-old Dutch DJ/producer Martin Garrix took some time to chat with Music Feeds about playing sold out gigs, flying his family around the world and working with Tiesto.

“I looked up to him,” said the prodigy DJ of his mentor Tiesto. “I’ve listen to every track of his, bought all his CDs, he’s really a role model for me.” Garrix said he still turns to Tiesto for feedback on all his new music and revealed two are collaborating on a track right now.

Garrix also talked about aspiring to be like DJ Hardwell, working with Firebeatz on the track Helicopter in Cyprus and dealing with Internet trolls.
