Husky – ‘Drunk’
Folk-rock outfit Husky have released a music video for Drunk, a track taken from their latest album, Ruckers Hill. The clip is something of a parting gift from the originally Melbourne-based band, who have now relocated to Berlin for the European summer.
Husky’s Drunk video was created by production team Oh Yeah Wow, who have worked with the likes of Gotye and Bombay Bicycle Club in the past. The clip, as the song’s name suggests, is based around alcohol’s after-effects, but with a surreal twist.
On their big move to Europe, Husky say it’s a strategic move, and they won’t be away for too long. “We’ll use it as a base to tour from and write our new record,” the group say in a statement.
“We’ll miss home and all our Australian friends, but time flies and we’ll be back at the end of the year with new music and a suitcase full of stories.”
Husky’s musical mastermind, Husky Gawenda, will return to Australia in August to take part in a world-first Beatles Rubber Soul/Revolver tribute concert.
