It’s been all quiet on the After the Fall front of late. But as the Central Coast-based rockers gear up for the release of their fourth album, Bittersweet (Out November 23) there is now a whole lotta noise coming out of said front.
Chatting to Matt and Mark, the lads give us a bit of an insight into the culture behind the band while they worked heads-down bums-up on the release in a DIY home studio. Minimalism seems to be a motif with the release. Everything about the album seems to have had the fat trimmed off it, even the title, name checked after the song that best sums up the energy of the whole record. Everything down to the riffs were scrutinised by a band hell bent on releasing a no-bullshit album.
Already fans have had the chance to sample the new goods live, as the band has peddled them at gigs in the past, though 4 new shows have been announced as they spread the love far and wide.
