Interview: At First Sight Festival – Beaches

Sydney’s inaugural At First Sight festival launched at Carriageworks in Sydney on Saturday, pulling in an array of music fans and seemingly every vinyl lover – be they mild enthusiast or feverish addict – to throw their support behind independent record stores. Though the enormous record fair was certainly a main attraction, the live music was also a big calling card, with a great lineup of bands and DJs performing. Music Feeds was on ground for the whole show, and we got to talk to a bunch of the lovely people play.

It was a 4 and a half year gap between drinks for fans of Beaches, though don’t think the band were being lazy prior to the release of this year’s She Beat. The band have been killing it internationally and are bringing that fury back home.
