Interview: Fall Out Boy – Saving Rock And Roll (Part 2)

As they make their way through Australia on their eagerly awaited crusade to Save Rock And Roll, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz and Andy Hurley were put to the coals by Music Feeds as we delved into their recent reunion, their forthcoming album and their thoughts on the recent My Chemical Romance split.

During part 2 of the interview, Pete explains the need for their music to be right before they release anything. The first single from the album, My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up), became the standard for the rest of the album, with the other tracks all evolving from there.

Guest artists are also going to be featured on the new album. Already we’ve heard news that 2 Chainz will be a collaborator (and also featured in the Light Em Up clip) as well as Elton John. Pete adds that Big Sean will be there too as well as Southampton siren Foxes. The iconic Courtney Love also scored a role, something the band seem pretty stoked about.
