Interview: Feelings – Berkfinger’s New Band, Influence’s And Their Latest Single

Feelings, comprised of Philadelphia Grand Jury frontman Simon Berkfinger with partners in crime Dave and Dan, is the latest musical endeavour undertaken by Berkfinger. Eager to further his legacy in Australian music rather than sit and be content with previous accolades, Simon and the gang caught up with the Music Feeds team to get the low-down.

As the band explains, Feelings rose from the ashes of previous projects, with the three having been in contact over the years, and finally finding themselves in the same outfit. While drawing some resemblance to his material from the Philly Jays, Simon explains the key influences behind the new band, and how they all came together to shape the band’s first single One In a Million.

Now hitting the road to tour with the new band, Feelings will soon be getting off to Berlin where Berkfinger resides and owns a recording studio in which Feelings will blossom and produce their album. We also get to the bottom of the wig-out clip released with the single, that still gives me nightmares!
