Interview: Grinspoon – Recording Process And Inspiration Behind ‘Black Rabbits’

If you ever wanted confirmation that Grinspoon love playing live, this is it.

Frontman Phil Jamieson and Guitarist Pat Davern sat down with Music Feeds recently to tell us about the inspiration behind making their new album Black Rabbits, which is out next week.

And, you guessed it, it’s because according to Phil “releasing an album gives a really good excuse to go out and play.”

Pat agrees: “Writing albums is good…but basically it’s a tool for us to go out on tour and do what we love doing, which is play live.”

The boys were also part of the massive Fat As Butter Festival lineup in Newcastle yesterday – check out the pics from their performance here.
