Interview: Japanese Wallpaper & Airling Tell Us All About Their Hit Collab ‘Forces’

One of the brightest young guns the Australian music scene has thrown forward for a long time, beatmaker Japanese Wallpaper, is riding high after releasing his debut EP last month and to continue the good times of 2k15, he popped into the Music Feeds studio for a nice rooftop rendition of current single Forces, with bbf Airling along for the ride and had a quick chat with presenter Luke afterwards.

JW, otherwise known as Gab Strum, discussed his tendency to collaborate with the likes of Airling saying, “there’s a lot to learn from other peoples writing processes and styles and influences, so I think I’ve grown a lot from collaborating with other people.”

He also touched on the fact that at 17-years-old, he’s still in high school, but finds juggling his music and other aspects of his life pretty easy, telling us “I’ve never not really known this kind of thing of juggling it all and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Check out the interview in the video above, and have a geez at out our review of his debut EP here.
